Jan Yonce is Administrative Assistant of Peachtree Elementary School.  Jan, a native of Macon County, is married to David Yonce of Murphy.  They have one daughter, Jessica Mashburn, who is a fourth grade teacher at Murphy Elementary School.  A graduate of Franklin High, Jan worked with Verizon Telephone Company and Cherokee County DSS before starting her career with Cherokee County School System in 1986.  A hands on person, Jan finds her job both rewarding and challenging.  From students to teachers to parents, Jan strives to make everyone who enters the doors of Peachtree Elementary feel they are the most important person she has helped that day.  She will be the first to tell you she has seen many changes and challenges in her career.
